The Reserve respects the privacy of every customer and visitor. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to reservesd.com and to any communications you receive from us.
The site’s menu, cart, and checkout flow live at reservesd.com/stores/the-reserve and are operated by our online menu and e-commerce partner. Their privacy practices govern those pages and are linked from inside them.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
When you give it to us directly. If you sign up for our Rewards program, you provide your first name, last name (optional), email (optional), and mobile phone number. If you contact us by phone, text, or email, we receive whatever information you share in that communication. If you check in at the register, our point-of-sale partner records your purchase and applies it to your loyalty account.
Automatically, when you visit the site. Like most websites, we collect technical information about your visit: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, and the site that referred you. This information is collected through cookies and similar web technologies.
From third parties that power embedded features on our site. Our online menu carousels, our loyalty signup widgets, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure, and our analytics provider each receive certain information from your browser when you interact with the parts of the site they power. The information they collect is governed by their own privacy policies.
How we use this information
We use what we collect to:
- Operate our Rewards loyalty program and apply your earned benefits at the register
- Send you the marketing text messages you specifically opted in to receive when you signed up (you can reply STOP at any time to opt out, and we honor that immediately)
- Respond to your questions when you contact us
- Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed California cannabis retailer
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Our loyalty and messaging platform partner, which holds your contact information and dispatches the marketing texts you opted in to receive.
- Our point-of-sale partner, which records your purchases and applies your Rewards balance at the register.
- Our online menu and e-commerce partner, which operates reservesd.com/stores/the-reserve and the cart and checkout flows.
- Our hosting provider and content-delivery network, which deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
- Our analytics provider, which helps us understand site traffic.
- Government agencies and law enforcement, when required by valid legal process or by California cannabis regulations.
We do not share information with advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies for three purposes:
- Essential: to remember whether you have confirmed you are 21 or older, to support form submission security, and to keep the site working.
- Analytics: to measure how visitors use the site. These cookies do not identify you personally to us.

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by California cannabis recordkeeping rules. Loyalty account information is retained for the life of your account; you can request deletion at any time.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach occurs we will notify affected individuals as required by law.
